Senior Security Solutions Engineer

The Senior Security Solutions Engineer supports the account teams on the solution and technical aspects of selling Caveonix’ s solutions to our largest federal and enterprise customers of all business sectors and sizes.

The ideal candidate will have a good mix of pre-sales experience, hands-on technical experience deploying enterprise cybersecurity solutions, and deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem. The candidate is expected to serve as the technical lead on new opportunities, POCs and existing projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer and partner opportunities.
  • Build relationships with partners to identify opportunities and grow sales.
  • Technically enable partners to sell and implement Caveonix solutions.
  • Deliver value to our customers through solution presentations, product demos, customer workshops and proof of concept deployments.
  • Address technical questions, offer insight into best practices.
  • Assist and lead end customer engagements on behalf of the Partner.
  • Respond to RFI’s & RFP’s.
  • Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
  • Be able to participate in Security Events/Trade
  • To act as a single point of contact for all Presales Technical activities with Partners.
  • Generation of technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer in a vendor/partner environment, preferably in cybersecurity.
  • Experience in AWS/Azure/GCP and VMware environment.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Well organized, flexible, efficient, and effective.
  • A person adaptable to change.
  • Ability to multi-task, working on multiple initiatives in parallel and able to prioritize those activities which are time sensitive.
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written, self-motivated, capable of working remotely.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Familiarity with NIST CSF, 800-53, 800-171, CIS 18, CMMC, HIPPA, PCI, etc.
  • Familiar with Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware) environments and security concepts
  • Strong understanding of security product lines (CSPM, CWPP, GRC, EDR, NDR, SIEM, and more.)
  • Cybersecurity certification or direct experience is a plus.

Bonus Skillset

  • Knowledge of and experience with: Zero Trust, SDP, SASE, SOAR, IoT / ICS / OT Security, DAST, SAST, SCA, RASP, API Security
  • Identity & Access Management concepts and standards such as SAML, OAuth & OpenID
  • DevOps, SecOps, Application Security concepts
  • Prior experience selling security services (Penetration Testing, Gap and Vulnerability Assessments, Hardening services, etc.).
  • A security certification such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, etc.
